Kissena Track Omnium 7/17/11

I did my first official track race at kissena Velodrome this past Sunday with a few friends. I wasn't sure if I'd like track racing, but after Sunday, I can say that I'm hooked. I had my moments during the day, and I did pretty well. I was riding on a cracked frame (see older posts). By the last race, the crack had gotten worse, and it was hard not to pay attention to the creaking sound emanating from my seat tube. It was pretty sketchy. All in all, it was an awesome day, and I can't wait to get back out there!

Cracked Felt TK2

My Felt has been creaking more and more lately. I honestly thought it was the bottom bracket, but I just replaced it a month or 2 ago. After I got home from my normal ride home from work, I inspected my frame and found this crack. It spans the whole width of the seat tube mast like a frowning face. I'm pretty bummed. I was supposed to race at Kissena this weekend, plus I'm broke. Very bad timing. I've been on the hunt for frames all night to no avail. I hope Felt can come through with the warranty coverage. This blows.

Felt

I decided to keep the Felt. I really love the frame. It fits me perfect. I got some Reynolds recon carbon clinchers awhile back. I also put on my black max flite that I've had sitting around forever. Shes a different beast. The changes made me happy with her again. I'll get some better shots up soon.

2009 Felt TK2, 52cm

The time has come to sell my current frame. I have my sights set on a new project. The frame is in excellent shape. There are some light scratches from daily riding and a few small paint chips around the rear bridge. I LOVE this frame. Its my favorite by far to date, and honestly its not easy to find in this size. Price is for frame/fork, headset, white felt 100mm stem (not pictured), and white felt tk2 saddle (not pictured). Asking $500 obo
