Brooklyn Pavé Ride 2011

The Brooklyn Pavè Ride is an annual ride that falls on the same day as the Paris Roubaix. Its main intent is to cover as many of the cobblestone streets in Brooklyn as possible. I would have to guess that there were about 40 riders on everything from fixed gears to tall bikes. By the end of the cobbles, my hands and arms were jello. I heard sounds coming from my bike that I've never heard before.

After the ride we ended up at the lakeside lounge, where 2 for 1 beers got me ripped pretty quick. I missed out on this ride last year, so I was really looking forward to it. It definitely didn't disappoint. Best Sunday in awhile! I really wish I had my good camera with me. All these came off my iphone.
